The exhibition is a review of various artistic approaches in the field of visual arts, referring to the motto of the 7th Poznań Art Week – Locality.
The broadly understood “locality” became a pretext for the selection of works by artists associated with the scientific circle W dotce, functioning at the University of Arts. Magdalena Abakanowicz. The importance of the role of relations in culture for creating a friendly climate for the exchange of ideas, emphasized by the Poznań Art Week team, is close to the exhibition. The scientific circle creates a kind of community based on the flow of thoughts around the visual arts.
Openness, accessibility and visibility are at least as important, if not more important, for our field as for other fields of science. We want to participate in its popularization and shaping the cultural sensitivity of the recipients.
