Ladies and Gentlemen,

The poster competition entitled “Poznań in the poster”, organized by the University of Arts in Poznań in cooperation with the Rarytas Foundation, aroused the interest of artists from all over the world. In total, there were almost 190 applications from 26 countries such as: Poland, China, Austria, Cuba, Turkey, Italy, Bangladesh, Romania, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Hungary, Ukraine, Nigeria, Iran, Iraq, Thailand, Mexico, India, Indonesia, Australia, Canada, Slovakia, Chile, USA, Uruguay, Columbia.

We would like to thank all participants of the competition!

The competition was adjudicated by the jury:

Due to the very high level of submitted works jury deliberated longer than expected, considering each of the submitted proposals. Ultimately, 30 designs were selected for the competition exhibition – single posters and dedicated poster series.

The jury decided to award more than one prize and additionally to honor one work in an honorary manner:

  • Main Prize (Grand Prix of the competition): Jan Jerzmański (Poland)
  • 2nd Prize: Raqee S. Najmuldeen (Iraq)
  • Honorable mention: Bartosz Choryan (Poland)
