Project dedicated to Poznań Art Week 2020 on-line “Remedy” by a duo of Hong Kong artists – Benny Au and Teresa Chan. This photographic impression is a response to the current quarantine and closure situation. It brings to mind “escape into the world of fantasy” or “internal immigration in search of beauty”. However, it can also be interpreted in many other ways. As the creators say:
Our work started with the intention to do a one poster like image, but grow into a group of images. We felt it would be more fun and appropriate to answer the topic in various images, and you can choose which ones you like. The title of the work is “just be”, which represents our feeling and idea on how art, creative and design should response in the current times. Basically, we’d like to say “just be” (yourself / whoever you want) no matter the circumstance is. It is you (as a person) that matters.
